Built on the ARM®Cortex®-M0+ processor, this low-cost development tool features the Kinetis® V series KV1x MCU family. FRDM-KV11Z allows the NXP®open source hardware embedded serial and debug adapter running an open source bootloader via OpenSDA platform which is one of its kind of open source bootloader for serial and debug adapter.
The platform is designed with form factor fully compatible with the Arduino™ R3 pin layout along with multiple options for the serial communication, flash programming, and run-control debugging. The FRDM-KV11Z is supported by a range of NXP and third-party development software including the Kinetis Motor Suite for rapid development of motor control applications.
