Description

The LIS3DH Breakout is a small yet powerful accelerometer module designed to measure motion and orientation. It is based on the LIS3DH chip, which is a low-power, three-axis accelerometer with high resolution and accuracy.

This breakout board features an I2C interface, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of projects. It also includes a voltage regulator and level shifting circuitry, allowing it to work with both 3.3V and 5V systems. The board itself is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for use in portable and wearable devices.

The LIS3DH chip on the breakout board is capable of measuring accelerations up to ±16 g, with a resolution of 12 bits. It also includes advanced power-saving features such as programmable interrupt modes and embedded FIFO memory. This makes it an excellent choice for applications that require accurate motion sensing while minimizing power consumption.

The LIS3DH is an ultra-low-power high-performance three-axis linear accelerometer belonging to the “nano” family, with digital I2C/SPI serial interface standard output. The device features ultra-low-power operational modes that allow advanced power saving and smart embedded functions. The LIS3DH has dynamically user-selectable full scales of +-2g/+-4g/+-8g/+-16g and is capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 1 Hz to 5.3 kHz.

The LIS3DH Breakout is a versatile and reliable accelerometer module that can be used in a wide range of projects, including robotics, gaming, and fitness tracking. Its small size, low power consumption, and high accuracy make it a popular choice among hobbyists and professionals alike.

Triple Axis MEMS Accelerometer: A Triple Axis MEMS Accelerometer is a sensor device that is designed to measure acceleration in three dimensions, namely the X, Y, and Z axes. The MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) technology enables these accelerometers to be very small in size, low in power consumption, and highly sensitive to motion. This type of accelerometer is commonly used in various applications, such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, and mobile devices. It is capable of detecting changes in velocity and orientation, which makes it ideal for tracking movement and position in real-time. With the advancement of MEMS technology, Triple Axis MEMS Accelerometers have become increasingly popular due to their high accuracy, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Cheap, easy to use and work as expected

I bought a bunch of these for a project I'm working on and they work great. They're cheap, easy to use and work as expected. I had no trouble interfacing them to my Arduino board, no trouble reading the data and they were easy to program.
