The NEO Sliding Magnetic Aluminum Alloy Case is a purpose-designed enclosure for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, combining passive thermal management, a magnetic sliding top cover, and full port accessibility within a precision-machined aluminum alloy shell finished with a modern Space Grey anodized surface. The aluminum alloy construction serves a dual function as both a protective enclosure and a passive heatsink, conducting heat away from the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B SoC and associated components through direct contact between the main board and the case body, reducing operating temperatures under sustained CPU load without a fan, active cooling hardware, or additional heatsink pads beyond what the case contact provides. The hollow ventilation design on the underside of the case further improves passive airflow and heat dissipation across the board surface, supplementing the conductive cooling delivered through the case walls.
The magnetic sliding top cover protects the GPIO header, USB ports, and top-side board components when the Raspberry Pi is not in active use or during transport, and slides clear quickly for full GPIO and board access during development and wiring sessions without requiring tools or enclosure disassembly. All Raspberry Pi 4 Model B ports - including USB-A, USB-C power, micro HDMI, Ethernet, 3.5mm audio, and GPIO - are fully reserved with corresponding cutouts in the case body, maintaining complete hardware functionality without modification or port compromise. A dedicated camera port on the case accommodates the Raspberry Pi Camera Module ribbon cable, allowing the Pi camera to be fixed and routed cleanly through the enclosure without forcing the case open or routing the ribbon cable externally around the enclosure edge. The 95.3 x 71.5 x 27.5mm assembled footprint keeps the overall unit compact relative to the board dimensions while accommodating the full port depth of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B connector stack.
