Tantalum Capacitors

(Showing 24 of 61)

Tantalum capacitors are a specific form of electrolytic capacitor. A tantalum electrolytic capacitor is a passive electronic component that consists of a pellet of porous tantalum metal as an anode, covered by an insulating oxide layer that forms the dielectric, surrounded by liquid or solid electrolyte as a cathode. Tantalum capacitors provide very high levels of capacitance within a small package with a low current supply.
