This is a cable that has an SMA connector on one end and an open end on the other. We sometimes call it an SMA Connector With Wire. It won't work with a UFL connector. The SMA Female part is good for testing with devices like cell phones and GPS that need an antenna. It connects well with SMA antennas and works reliably. You can solder the open end to a circuit board.
