The TL431IDBZR is a versatile three-terminal adjustable shunt voltage reference IC designed for precision voltage regulation in a wide range of electronic applications. It allows the output voltage to be programmed from approximately 2.5V up to 36V using just two external resistors, making it a flexible and reliable alternative to traditional Zener diodes. Its stable reference and sharp turn-on behaviour ensure predictable performance in regulation and control circuits.
With a typical output impedance of 0.2ohm and support for up to 100mA cathode current, the TL431IDBZR is well suited for on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, battery chargers, and SMPS feedback loops. The device is offered with good thermal stability and low output drift across temperature, ensuring consistent operation in industrial and commercial environments.
